DSS Installed a TouringSim simulator at the Maribor University, Slovenia. The driving simulator will be used for research on traffic safety and driver behavior by the faculty of transportation and traffic engineering.

The TouringSim simulator is a professional simulator, built for research with the specialized STISIM Drive3 software. The simulator features a digital instrument cluster for display of speed, rpm, turn indication and selected gear. Authentic and high-quality driver controls create an immersive experience for the driver, this includes a real turn-indicator lever, 3 pedals, a direct drive steering wheel and a automatic/manual/sequential shiter. The many available settings allow for the simulation of a wide range of vehicle types. The visuals are rendered on 3x43inch 4K displays, creating a 135° field-of-view. The simulator has a compact design that fits through a standard door, with all the components fitted neatly inside a sleek black finished body. Optionally, the simulator can be placed on caster wheels to move it around easily.
